Effect is dedicated to using their tools and resources to give back to the community through volunteering opportunities and donations. These are just some of the recent initiatives to improve communities for the people living in them:
- Volunteering time, tools and expertise to repair outdoor rinks
- Donating funds to support the building of new playgrounds
- Coordinating annual winter clothing drives
- Collecting food for the food bank
- Offering our employees flex time to do volunteer work
- Providing work equipment (such as gloves and work boots) to give opportunities to those looking to work
- Volunteer time, materials and expertise to renovate local venues such as a recent a neighbourhood dance studio renovation

They informed us of our options and suggested some creative solutions. Although we decided to not proceed with the project we felt we were in good hands throughout the entire process and it was a pleasure to work with the Effect team.
